I am a Boston University graduate (2023) with a degree in Computer Science, and an interest in all things technology related.

My past internships have involved Full Stack roles, so I have experience working in both server-side code bases as well as client side applications. I am also proficient in RESTful API's, the MVC design pattern, and modern UI libraries like React. I have also dabbled in Data Science, contributing to research on name-gender classification of patent owners.

When I'm not programming, you can find me learning new languages (the human spoken type), exploring the city's food scene, or snuggling in with a good post-apocalyptic fiction.

June '22 - Aug '22

Worked in a full stack role on a Content Management System web application. Created a feature that would allow users to create and preview HTML templates faster, reducing wait times from 3 hours to milliseconds. Participated in the design process, creating design documents and meeting with stakeholders to develop this feature. Utilized React, Material UI, and Redux Forms in the frontend, and RESTful API's, AWS S3, and Java Spring Boot in the backend. Tested features using JUnit and deployed to production. In addition, also partook in routine bug fixes, refactoring, and other ticket items for the team.

Collaborated with 4 other interns to create a full stack MVP of an ecommerce web application using Java Spring Boot, React, MySQL, and deployed to Google Cloud Platform. Developed a backend service for user authentication and authorization, using RESTful API's and in the MVC design pattern. Implemented the frontend user authorization component, creating the user interface for user login, user sign up, and user profile. Used OAuth 2.0 to manage user authorization and React Router to restrict user access to pages depending on different levels of user permissions.

Spotify Unmixed

Spotify Unmixed is a web app that allows users to login using Spotify's Authentication Service and find stats on their top listens, and recommendations based on their recent favorites. Technologies used include React, React Router, Context API, React Bootstrap, Node.js, Spotify Web API, OAuth. It's deployed with Netlify, but is currently inactivated due to Spotify's access token limitations.

Welcome to my personal portfolio website :) I decided to use Next.js because not only does it still reatain all the benefits of React, but it also initializes the first render serverside which results in faster initial load times and better search engine optimization. Both of which are good for a personal portfolio! Technologies used include React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS. It is deployed using Vercel.

Gender Classification

Scraped, cleaned, and analyzed 40,000 patents from the Google Patents webpage for a BU Law department study on global gender distribution data. Used data aggregation and classification methods to analyze the accuracy of character based and romanized name gender classifiers. Technologies used include Python's Pandas, SciPy, and NumPy libraries.
